Here’s how you can guide your readers through the online route:
Visit the portal: Click on the above Open Button
Sign Up / Login:
If new, register via mobile number → verify OTP.
If existing, login using mobile + OTP. Confirm the linked number is correct.
Select “Fill Enumeration Form”: On the dashboard under Services.
Enter your EPIC (Voter ID) + Select your state → System fetches pre-filled data. If your mobile is not linked, you’ll be asked to link via Form 8 before proceeding.
Choose the correct category (this is important):
My name existed in the last SIR roll.
My parent/guardian’s name existed in the last SIR roll.
Neither my name nor my parent’s was in the last SIR roll.
Based on that you may need to enter relative’s details.
Check/Edit Details: The form will show pre-filled data. Verify your name, Aadhar No., EPIC, DOB etc carefully.
Aadhaar e-Sign: If everything checks out, you’ll be directed to verify via Aadhaar e-sign (OTP via Aadhaar linked mobile). Must match names exactly. If you fail e-sign you’ll have to submit offline.
Submit the form: After e-sign, you’ll see a confirmation / acknowledgement.
Check Status: After submission you can check your form’s status (whether uploaded by your BLO or accepted) via the same portal: Login → “Fill Enumeration Form” → enter EPIC → Search. If message says “Your form has already been submitted with mobile number…” you’re done.

The SIR (Special Intensive Revision) is a nationwide drive by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to update and verify the electoral roll — meaning who is eligible to vote.
It ensures:
Names of eligible voters are correctly listed, and
Changes like new residents, missing names, changed addresses get factored in.
For readers: If you want to make sure your name appears in the voter list or your details are up-to-date, this is the time to act.
Before filling the form, make sure you have the following sorted:
Your mobile number linked to your Voter ID (EPIC) — If not linked, the online system may refuse your submission.
Your name as per your EPIC (Elector’s Photo Identity Card) and your Aadhaar must match exactly if you’re using the online e-sign option.
A scanning/photograph size 2MB of documents ready (if required) and stable internet/ device if doing it online.
If you’ve never appeared in the last SIR roll (or your parent/guardian did) you must fill extra details of that relative — the system will ask.
Some readers may prefer or need to fill a physical form (for example if they don’t have Aadhaar linked, or mobile not linked, or internet issues). Here’s how to guide them:
Contact your local Booth Level Officer (BLO) and ask for the physical enumeration form. Many states distribute these during the SIR drive.
On the form you’ll usually see a pre-filled section (name, EPIC, address) plus blank fields for updates/photos. Check all pre-filled entries first—if any wrong, correct them.
Paste two recent colour photographs (if required).
If your name was not in the last SIR roll, you’ll need to fill your relative’s EPIC & roll details (father/mother/grandparent) as specified.
After filling, sign where required; if you’re absent, some states allow an adult family member to fill on your behalf but they must mention their relation and sign accordingly.
Submit the form to your BLO within the specified timeframe.
It’s helpful for your readers to be aware of these so they can avoid problems:
Mobile number not linked with EPIC → leads to “Cannot proceed” errors.
Name on Aadhaar & name on Voter ID don’t match → e-sign fails.
Entering EPIC or roll numbers incorrectly (especially the older roll / last SIR roll) → system may show “No record found”.
Using spouse’s name for “relative” entry when your name wasn’t in previous roll. Some states don’t accept spouse — they ask for parent or grandparent.
Submitting information that is incorrect (address or relation mismatch) — could lead to your form being rejected or put under scrutiny.
For your website readers it’s helpful to know:
After submission, the electoral authorities will verify your details (either online or via your BLO).
A draft voter list will be published (date depends on state) after SIR process is complete. You will have a chance to see whether your name appears, or raise objections if needed.
If your form doesn’t get uploaded yet, you can follow up via the status check procedure.
Keep your Acknowledgement / Reference Number safe (if given) — might be needed for query or rectification.
